Honfleur
  • Honfleur

Named after the harbour town in Normandy, Honfleur is a colour inspired by the rich warm browns found in the rustic French countryside as well as in Mid-century Modern design.

This rich brown works well with bright colours such as Scandinavian Pink and Antibes Green. It can also look elegant and classical when paired with pastels like Duck Egg Blue or Antoinette.

Shown as an end table with Clear Wax set against a Svenska Blue wall, with a curtain in Tacit in Old Violet and a lampshade in Ticking in Old Violet.  Also shown as a wooden candle holder, together with Giverny and Amsterdam Green.  A Midcentury Modern living space starts with an Honfleur base with Barcelona Orange and Primer Red accents, set against a Provence wall.
